OOTD: Finally Getting Warm!

Hey guys!
So the sun is finally starting to shine around where I live, and the weather is warming up! I could not be happier since we actually had a pretty cold winter this year. So since it was sunny and warm today, I got to wear some new spring clothes that I got a couple weeks ago!
Shorts (I know, they look like a skirt)-Nordstrom
Shirt-Pacsun
Cardigan/Sweater-Aeropostale
Booties-Macy’s
Headband-Forever 21
And I got the necklace as a gift, so I don’t know where it’s from, sorry! :/
I am in love with this outfit!! It will definitely be worn a lot this spring/summer. The cardigan is light but not too thin, it is seriously perfect. I actually got it from my mom yesterday! She surprised me with a Jamba Juice, Nerd ropes, and this cardigan! She is honestly the greatest mom – I was having such a bad day yesterday and I guess by mother’s intuition she knew! I am so so so grateful to have her as my mom (:
Haha anyway, this outfit is super comfy and I love how everything comes together. And the cardigan will be great for summer nights so I can just throw it over whatever I’m wearing so I don’t get cold (or eaten alive by bugs since I tend to get a lot of bug bites)! And for a bonus, my dogs and cats love playing with the tassels on the bottom.
Here’s a better look at the cardigan
And, since it was such a nice day, I took a couple of pictures of my dogs while they were outside!
TJ loves to smell the camera
This was too cute not to include. He loves smiling!
Miki’s pretty camera shy though!
Aaaand Z has to bark at everything.
A little duck playing in our creek (:
Hopefully I didn’t bore you guys with my other pictures from today! Since it was so nice out I thought I would take a few quick snaps, and because I’m stoked for spring!!
What are you looking forward to the most for spring?
As always, thank you so much for reading, and I hope you have a great day! (:

Hello everyone!
Right now I’m supposed to be writing a 7-9 page paper that’s due Monday, so, naturally, I’m writing a blog post instead. Senior year has turned me into a professional procrastinator, and I know I will be kicking myself tomorrow. But you know, I just really don’t have any profound ideas right now so I figured I would write a post first and see if anything hits me…
The other day for school I actually picked out my outfit the night before for once, so I actually got to school on time (that does not happen very often), and I even had time to do my hair! So here is what I wore!
Shirt: Nordstrom
Skirt: H&M
Tights: Nordstrom
Boots: Macy’s
Necklace: Charlotte Russe
I just can’t get enough of the back of this sweater haha I love it so much.
I’m trying to wear my darker “winter” pieces as much as possible since spring is coming around, so this was perfect to wear. These are some of my favorites from my closet so I felt great wearing this! And I don’t wear my hair up a lot since I feel uncomfortable, but I actually really liked having my hair like this. It was kind of nice to have it out of my face all day, and I thought it actually looked good. I think I’ll wear it up more, especially since it’ll be warming up relatively soon! The fact that spring is technically 20-something days away really is unbelievable. I can’t believe how quickly this year is flying by!
Well I just thought I would quickly share this outfit with you guys since I loved it so much, and since winter is coming to an end!
What are you excited about the most for spring?
Thank you so much for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful day! (:

Hey guys!
A couple of days ago I went to a Bridal Convention with my family. I know it sounds weird, but my mom has a bakery so we went this year to see if it would be worth it to have a booth there next year. I can’t tell you how many times I got asked if I was getting married! Haha it was actually pretty funny, and it was cool to see all of the pretty dresses and jewelry! But I thought I would show you guys what I wore since we had to get somewhat dressed up.
Sweater: Forever 21
Skirt: H&M
Tights: Nordstrom
Booties: Macy’s
I thought this outfit was perfect for the convention because it was kind of dressy but still casual, and very comfortable at the same time! I also really love skater skirts, so it was a good excuse to wear one (:
I got this necklace a couple of years ago from Charlotte Russe. It’s one of my favorites because of the back!
I absolutely love this bow in the back! I think it’s a really nice detail of the necklace.
These shoes have quickly become one of my favorite pairs! They go with so many outfits and they are the perfect booties for someone who doesn’t want a high heel pair (me in a nutshell!).
And of course, Perry had to get in on all the fun…
He is getting so big! And his sense of exploration is getting just as big, and as a result he broke the ceramic holder for one of my plants. He is really sweet for the most part though, so this doesn’t happen too often (:
So there it is! I really love this outfit and I think it’s pretty versatile as well. I also love the colors for winter!
What’s your favorite thing to wear when you have to get a little dressed up?
Thanks for reading, and have a great rest of your day! (:

Fall Fashion!

Hey guys! So I have already told you all, fall is one of my favorite seasons! I had a mini pumpkin cupcake at my mom’s bakery today, and it made me so happy and it was pretty much the greatest thing all day. Fall has definitely arrived in my neck of the woods! All the trees are turning yellow and orange, and they’re so gorgeous (:
Anyway, today I am going to share what I have been wearing for the fall season! I have really been loving dark colors like deep red, maroon, and forest green. I just got maroon tights that I have a slight obsession with…
So here they are!

  • Military Jacket from Nordstrom
  • Purple sweater from Forever 21
  • Jeans from American Eagle
  • All Star Converses
I really love this military jacket; it isn’t too thick but it still provides a lot of warmth and is really cute at the same time! It is also just thin enough that I can layer it with other sweaters.

Here is another way I wore it!

  • Gray sweater: Nordstrom
  • Jeans: American Eagle
  • Ugg boots: Nordstrom

I also wanted to include this picture because I never do anything with my hair; I usually let it dry naturally but I was apparently feeling inspired that day (: So nice hair it was! And the fact that it takes 45 minutes to curl my hair is very off putting…

Some more Comfy/Casual looks…

  • Scarf: I actually crocheted it myself! Crocheting is a secret obsession of mine…
  • Sweater: Nordstrom
  • Leggings: Nordstrom
  • Uggs: Nordstrom
I know, I got all of these items at Nordstrom, but I bought a bunch of fall clothes there about a month ago because I had a Nordstrom Note, and I went a little crazy…I really love their clothes…
  • Sweater: Nordstrom (this is seriously on of the comfiest sweaters ever)
  • Shirt: Nordstrom
An outfit like this is so great for days where you want to look cute but also be comfy.
Also, this picture features my jeep (affectionately called El Jepe, I really don’t know why) in the background (:
One of my current obsessions…SKATER SKIRTS!
I seriously love them.

  • Crop sweater: Nordstrom
  • Gray skater skirt: Nordstrom
  • Maroon tights: Pacsun
  • Steve Maddon Boots: Macy’s
I am in love right now with skater skirts! I really love this outfit in general; it’s super comfy and the skirt is so fun to wear.
Here is this outfit with black tights, no socks and a different necklace. Also with my hair curled!
I wore this to a job shadow at Fox Studios! I had a blast and did it with one of my best friends who also took all of these pictures for me (: I will give a link to her blog at the end of the post!
  • Sweater: Nordstrom
  • Skirt: Nordstrom
  • Neckalce: Forever 21
I really love this outfit as well! This sweater is incredibly soft. And the back is amazing! I’m enamored by it.
Isn’t it super cool?! It was love at first sight.
Another way I wore this sweater! And also another skater skirt!! This one is from H&M.
  • Jean jacket: Macy’s
  • Dress: Forever 21
  • Necklace: Forever 21
When I first saw this dress, I instantly fell in love. It is so flowy and really comfortable to wear. I just thought it had a really cool pattern; inside the crosses there is a floral pattern that I adore. It also has a sweetheart neckline trimmed with fake leather! I thought it was just really cool overall.
Well that is all of the outfits I have put together so far! I am so excited for the fall and winter because it means comfy sweater weather and big chunky scarves (: I am definitely one happy bee!
Also, a great big thanks to one of my bestest friends, Joycie, for taking all of these pictures! You can check out her blog here.
